Wake Up Your Seatmate started out as four high school girls wanting to make something they all had a passion for MUSIC. The band first conquered their friends backyards and parties. Eventually, they landed their biggest gig playing at their very own school event the annual Assumption High School Fair.

It was after this that they decided to pursue the band seriously. Realizing that they can rely on no one but themselves, the girls literally stormed into Gweilos Bar in Makati and asked the owner for a one off gig, promising a full house in return. The night proved to be a huge success. That marked the beginning of regular bar gigs in such places as Gweilos, Bistro 110, 6 underground, Capone's Bar, Mag:Net Caf�, Caf� Saguijo, and Club Dredd Eastwood. In October of 2006, roughly four years after the band first played together, Wake Up Your Seatmate released their self titled debut CD under Raven7 Multimedia.

Band Members:
After going through two line up changes, the band is now composed of original members Mia Tengco on vocals and guitars, Atchoo Ilagan on drums, and Patty Peralta on bass. Iya Regalario, the newest seatmate, has taken over lead guitar chores.
