Interview from the swiss magazine called ﾒDAILY ROCK(by Soph) :

1 - Please tell me the history of the band.

I know Duckk since a very long time. He was an electro DJ and I was a bassist player in rock bands. I also liked to
do some electronic music with machines or computers, and with the passing months it became more serious. Then
we met Davﾕ, he was guitarist and he loved the music we made with our machines. One day he played on it and we
said : ﾒwow, this is it! WAKs was born.

2 -What is electro-clash?

Hum, it's electro which clash! A kind of electro-punky you know?

3 -Elektro Sucks, the title of your album, is to show youﾕre the king of self-derision?

Yes of course, itﾕs ironic, electro definitely doesnﾕt sucks! Actualy, it was the title of a song, and it was a great title
for the album, so we kept it!

4 -A bit of rock, a bit of electro, don't you have the ass between two chairs?

Yes we have, and it's fine. We like a lot of kind of music, electro, rock, metal, ambiant, hardcore, drum and bass,
jazz! There are good things in every styles and itﾕs very enriching to listen diversified music. We never decided to
do ONLY electro or ONLY rock, the best thing for us was to mix it together. And weﾕre glad to see that our
audience is very varied.

6 - How do you compose your songs? What is the good way to do good music in your opinion?

Duckk have a sampler, he records sounds from everywhere and I work on it. Melodies comes naturally, we don't think about how to do this or that, we are spontaneous. We just follow our feelings... Everything is easy... We never try anything... We just do it!
